SOUND FAMILIAR?

It's 4pm. The
tablet wins.

None of this means you are doing it wrong. It means nobody handed you a plan for the hour between school and dinner.

A WHOLE WORKSHOP IN ONE BOOK

Wait. We can
make that?

Lift a package. Open a castle gate. Make a paper hand wave hello. Each build gives your child something new to try.

A paper traveller resting under a folded roofA cardboard helper standing on two flat feetA paper hand raising its fingers to signalA castle drawbridge opening on its stringsA cargo lift carrying a parcel upstairsA sliding door opening on a cardboard front
A marked path winding through the mountain lanesA little theatre lit from behindA balanced ride carrying two paper friendsA paper spinner dropping from aboveSix word tiles laid out in orderThe finished Welcome Day sign standing up

All twelve, in the order you build them. The book carries the measurements, the diagrams, the troubleshooting and the story that joins them up.

Twelve of them, for $24.99. One payment, both books, yours to keep.

MEET PIP. FOLLOW THE CLUES.

A little world.
A story of their own.

The town is getting ready for Welcome Day. But six pieces of its sign are missing. Pip needs a builder, an explorer… and your child’s best ideas.

The whole story comes with the book.

All six chapters, the clues and the finale are included in the complete digital adventure.

WHAT CHANGES

What the hour
looks like after.

Not a personality transplant. A different default for the same afternoon.

  • Something exists by dinner that did not exist at 4pm.Made from a cereal box, two books and a sheet of paper.
  • There is a reason to come back tomorrow. The story is six chapters long, and it stops at a checkpoint, not mid-build.
  • The tablet stops being the only offer on the table.Fewer negotiations, because there is something better already started.
The castle drawbridge, one of the projects explained in the digital book.

WHAT THIS IS NOT

Four things worth knowing.

  • It is not a kit. Nothing is shipped. You find the cardboard.
  • It is not hands-off. An adult cuts and sits down with them.
  • Pocket Missions needs a printer. The main book does not.
  • It is not a curriculum. It is twelve afternoons.

SEVEN DAYS TO CHANGE YOUR MIND

GOOD QUESTIONS.

Before you
clear the table.

Will this suit my child’s age?

It is designed for ages 5–9 with a grown-up. Younger children will need more help folding, measuring and assembling. Older children can take on measuring, testing and the extra challenges. Choose the level of help that fits your child; an adult handles cutting and preparation.

Can my child do it independently?

Plan to start together. A grown-up handles preparation, cutting and supervision, and helps with trickier parts. Your child can take the lead on decorating, storytelling and trying changes. This is a shared activity, with room for independence as their confidence grows.

What do I actually download?

Two PDFs of the 84-page book, US Letter and A4 — both hold the same complete adventure, so you only need one. Plus the 24-page Pocket Missions book, which is made to be printed. Common supplies are paper, cardboard, tape, string and books; a few builds add straws, a toy car or a torch.

How does the interactive PDF work?

Open it in a PDF viewer that supports links. Tap Home, Quest, Builds and the other navigation buttons to move between sections. On a phone you may want to zoom in to read the instructions. This is a book with clickable navigation; it does not automatically save answers or track progress.

Do we have to finish the whole quest in order?

You can explore any build on its own. For the connected story, follow the six chapters in order. Each chapter has a checkpoint so you can pause after one build and return another day. You set the pace.

Is it safe to pay here?

Payment is handled by Whop, the platform that hosts the book. Your card details go to Whop and its payment processor and never reach this website or Fieldnote Press. You will receive a receipt from Whop and a separate email from us with your download links.

Can I use it with a class or sell copies?

This edition is for personal household use. You can print copies for your household. It does not include a classroom, commercial or resale license.
